Judith, can't wait to hear from you and all details on wedding, how Brooke is doing etc.
Saw your pictures and they are just wonderful--you do such a nice job. Talk to you soon. God bless you, Char
Not sure if you had time to see blog but I will phone when I get home although I will be busy so it may not be immediately. Hope you are OK - you seem to be down for HMS week !
Hey, Jim! How we've missed you!
Didn't know there was a H'ship week in Spring, but sounds good. We have reservations for H'ship in October. They usually have some cow work then, and Paul loves that. Think Doug and Betty Jo…
Charlene & Paul,
I am thinking of going back in the Spring sometime. I thought about going back in May for the Horsemanship week with Terry but March would be fun as well. Keep me posted on weather or not you will be there in March. It would be…
Hello, Peter! Where are you? You have been missed!! Let us hear what's going on with you and if you are working with the children or what. You can always use our regular e-mail. And, of course, if you're ever thru N'ville, come see…
SOooooo, it sounds like either way, ya can't go wrong. I do like playing with the cattle, so it's good that you get to do both regardless if it's cattle/horse week. How fun. Thanks for the imput.
Julie
Hmmm, comparing the two weeks. Cattle week has more all day rides (I think); and you're out away from the ranch bushwhacking. Pretty slow, but cattle are. The h'ship week has some cattle work in the arena. Laurie and Jeff work well…
Hey, it was nice to hear from you. I guess there is comfort in numbers. So many of us suffer from missing the ranch. Since the only people who can understand it are the other guest, I think one of the best ideas they came up with, was adding this…
Judith, happy you are home safely! Please do let Lindy know to add the problem of year-round dreaming of LV to the LVWS list. Spoke with Caroline today to see about returning to ranch when you are next there. Look out!

Hey, it was nice to hear from you. I guess there is comfort in numbers. So many of us suffer from missing the ranch. Since the only people who can understand it are the other guest, I think one of the best ideas they came up with, was adding this community to the website. I've not gone during horsemanship week, how would you rate that as oppose to cattle week?
Julie
No kidding Charlene, it would be great to be able to afford to be there all the time. I guess I will just have to buy a lottery ticket and spreas the wealth to all the Lost Valley people so we can all just live up there. Poor Bob and Karen will need to build more cabins to accomidate all of us all year.
Charlene & Paul,
Thanks for your encouraging words. I am planning a great Christmas picture and letter this year again. I have a new horse, as you can see, and we are planning to wait for some snow so the black horse will show better. We all, my grandson Tony, Dominic's son, Trinity, Katie and I, plan on wearing black and white and each of us will wear a different color scarf. It should be fun. Nice to hear from you. Keep in touch.
Charlene and Paul,
Your pics are wonderful from Horsemanship week. I wish I could have been there. It was so nice to be back in the valley again after a long absence. I took one afternoon off from riding and released a small vile of Dominic's ashes in the medow. I ended up with a lot of healing while I was in the valley.
I'm writing a book on my life. I was planning on writing a book about our grief on loosing a son but I have received some clear messages from God about what to write and it's suppose to be about me. My life before Dominic, how my life changed when he came along, and how God has dealt with me since Dominic's death. Some of this wil be painful but I'm convinced most of it will be filled with joy.
I'm going back to the valley in March of next year and I just may come for Horsemanship week in Oct instead of Cattle week. Anyway.....God bless you two and I look forward to seeing you again.
