Hello from freezing Colorado! Normally, I would expect some sympathy from you but I think that most of you are experiencing worse weather than we are! The -10 degree weather has forced everyone here inside to do the jobs that we’ve been putting off for a rainy, or in this case, cold day. At this moment the maintenance men are up on ladders cleaning the tops of the dining room fans, and the wranglers are cleaning the tack room. Heidi, Hi!
I can't believe we've been back home for 2 weeks now and miss you all a lot. We came back to a freaky heatwave with temperatures in the 80's and now it's back to normal. I took this photo on Friday 23rd September from the dining room so it was too late to go on to the CD. The sky looks like it is on fire! We've come back with so many wonderful memories, especially the lunch run. They will just have to keep us going until next year.
Elaine & Stuart xx
