Very sad we won't be able to make it to the ranch this summer. Have LVL in our sites for 2012 and hope to bring friends and family with us.

Ah the memories - excitement after being in the saddle for 9 hours and finally seeing Sheep's Rock. But then it is 7pm and we are still miles away from "home". I got an idea let's go cross country!

Been visiting LVL since the late 1970's with my family, and now am taking my family when we can. So far in the new century we have been able to make it three times (2005, 2007, 2009). My 2.5 year old "rode" Dewey. I rode Chisum and he was great. Even with me riding him he managed to win the Adult Barrels at the guest rodeo. We had an eventful week with hail the size of mothballs, and an all day ride that truly went all day...and into the night. over 11.5 hours in the saddle is a new record for me - and has become a fond memory. "The Storm" caused a bit of chaos, but the staff were in emergency mode and did a great job, by the time we left the rode past the lodge was mostly fixed, though we still had to drive out the back way as the usual dirt road was still washed out. 2009 was another great visit to our "second home."

Dear Jay,
Thank you for your review. I haven't seen it yet, but they email me a copy within three days. Thanks again for coming this summer.
