A bit of excitement in our barn before I left US, I was putting horses away at night with Polina and she says, "Mommy, look a skunkie" !!!!!!!!!!!!!! There trotted a skunk between horses' stalls and I discovered a baby skunk in the hay bin. I was sure we would all be sprayed, but the skunk was quite relaxed with the horses and the horses with the skunk, so I tiptoed with a 1200 pound horse past the skunk to put the last horse away and fled! :) I just arrived back in Russia last night without the kids :( Carrying visions of rocky look outs, wildflowers on the hills and sounds of Molly's gulch (as well as a bit of left over adrenalin from the barrel race ;) as I head back into my city of 1 million+ people. Savor it all! Be well. oh, and, give Pebbles an apple from me if you can :)
