Thursday

The program was moved back to the ranch even though we ate outside and was the usual mixture of songs that brought a tear to the eye and comedy that made you cry with laughter. Becca and Will Warnock tried to get in on the act too! Sadly the day ride was cancelled due to lack of interest but it was a beautiful sunny day. After I saw the beaver again in the morning we rode to Apache and saw chipmunks. On the way back we stopped to watch Jeff and his 10 year old son Owen roping steers in the arena
In the afternoon we rode up to high line – I nearly fell off jumping a log as Sacha did a cat leap but determination not to hit the ground kept me on top. Then we watched Jeff training the 2 year olds until dinner called.
