Tuesday

Last night we were entertained at dinner by Chelsea’s horse impressions. The morning started off bright but frosty and the reflections in the pond were great as I cycled down the road.

In the morning we rode with Caroline to Salt Lick 7 (again – we can’t resist it) and the views were great as usual. In the afternoon we went with Kellie to High Line and had to negotiate downed trees every few hundred yards. In some place we had to be mountain goats and climb high up negotiating rocks and branches on our way. We had some great view of Pike’s Peak too and the aspens are perfect. Rainy found a chipmunk which narrowly escaped her. We ended up with a great long ride over ground we had not covered before.

Josh and Tony went off to see if the cows had joined another herd but no luck. We may go out to look for them again!!!
