Our Brand of Western Hospitality

Snow, snow, snow. About 1 inch came in overnight but we still had two great rides. The first we just meandered around the lower routes but saw great wildlife. A coyote ran across our path on the Saw Mill lope and then a red tailed hawk sat on the dead tree just off the track. Maria jumped the log at Olympic Park

and we came in to sit in front of the fire. In the afternoon we had more great lopes although it was a little colder. The rest of the afternoon was spent reading in front of the fire and it was worth making my own in my cabin. We have a great musical evening to look forward too.

hahaha, yeah it's me! I was cold, so I decided to wear my regular winter hat and not my cowboy one. It doesn't make the best western picture, but at least I was warm!

Wow! The snow is SO beautiful! I recognize that log but Maria looks very different from the summer! Could be that "western" knit cap!
